Biography

Adebayo Faleti was a Nigerian poet, journalist, writer, actor, and director. He was a pioneer of the first television station in Africa, Western Nigeria Television (WNTV), and became Africa's first newscaster. He was also a known translator, and translated the speeches of the military president of Nigeria, General Ibrahim Babangida, from English to Yoruba.
