Biography
Godfried Andreas Watermeyer was an Afrikaner poet. He worked as a translator for the South African Broadcasting Corporation and, later, had a successful career in advertising. He published seven collections of poetry in his lifetime, though his first, "Sekel en simbaal," published 1948, remains the most praised.
